The officers of the club are elected for six month terms except for the Treasurer whose term is for one year. Officers are elected by the club's members and are installed at the Club's semiannual installation meeting/dinner. Terms of office are from January 1 through June 30 and July 1 through December 31.
The current club officers and their duties are:
PRESIDENT: Fumi O. Klemski, DTM
The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the Club; presides over all meetings; delegates responsibility for special projects; conducts monthly Club Executive meetings and ensures that semi-annual reports, membership dues and new officer lists are submitted to Toastmasters International on time.
V.P., EDUCATION: Ravi Narayanan, CC
The Vice President, Education presides in the absence of the President; prepares programs for the regular meetings and keeps records of members' speeches; assigns speech manuals after each speech is given; conducts all club contests.
V.P., MEMBERSHIP: John A. Ruiz
The Vice President, Membership is responsible for planning, organizing and directing a program that ensures retention of members and membership growth.
V.P., PUBLIC RELATIONS: Lydia Rivera, CC
The Vice President, Public Relations is responsible for developing a publicity program to inform members and the general public about the club and Toastmasters International including preparation of the Club Newsletter.
SECRETARY: Ryoko Nishikawa
The Secretary is responsible for club records and correspondence; has custody of the club's Constitution and Bylaws and all other records and documents of the club; keeps an accurate record of meetings and activities of the club and of the Executive Committee.
TREASURER: Darcy McNaboe, DTM
The Treasurer is responsible for club financial policies procedures and controls; collects members dues and keeps accurate record of all financial transactions; prepares Treasurer's report and distributes it to the membership periodically.
SERGEANT-AT-ARMS: Tony Petta, ATM, CL
The Sergeant-At-Arms maintains all club materials and equipment; arrives early at meetings to set up the room; provides name tags for members and guests; greets guests to make them feel welcome.
The Immediate Past President provides advice and counsel as requested by the President.
